sunny skies perfect for flying. messy crowds so typical. menacing planes the required. pretty souvenirs the needed. idiotic Singapore Technologies wasted so much prime floor space as usual. Boeing touting their future Dreamliner. Airbus blatantly showing off their A3xxx. Typhoon, Rafale vying for attention like crazy. F-16C, F-15E making usual appearances worldwide. B-1B hiding at behind. AH-64D Apache as per normal. chinook having a low-profile with the apache, singapore having long completed those purchases. JSF taking front stage with the contenders. UAVs the hot stuff now, brain-boggling models by all countries. US having all the funky UAVs, Israel a pretty one, Singapore a indescribable one, China an ugly one. India making surprisingly big appearance at this airshow, with many air performances and a huge following. Typhoon pple provided charming enertainment with jugglers, caricaturist, video screening, lots of freebies. Sunburnt, as expected, wouldn't be complete without it. wonderful. rather expensive tickets tho. but well worth the fun to watch fighter jets instead of silly hollywood movies. once every 2 years that place comes alive. and watching the countless airliners departing from changi airport. i got a B-2 pin! and Typhoon juggling balls. and ST was showing off their SAR 21 MMS, SAR 21 MMS Carbine, SAR 21 with grenade launcher. the MMS ones looked quite interesting, for a change. they set up this antiair gun with a connected radar, letting it track the airplanes in the sky. rather cute to see the gun moving with the plane.
got lots of photos.
