walked from HwaChong to Botanic Gardens. surprisingly short walk. very enjoyable journey. shall include it as part of my singapore trekking route.
weather kept sunny for the afternoon, thankfully. Symphony Lake is really nice, towards the back part, the front part's yucky. there are lotus plants, lily plants, froggies, tortoises, pond-skaters, fishes, carps, dragonflies, flowers, birds. really nice there.
there's new Ginger garden thingy, with alot of weird plants. it's just south of the orchid garden.
the lily pond near the Swan Lake, the one with the sundial in the middle and a big clock, it has frogs living there, with lots and lots of tadpoles in the water.
really interesting. look closely.
