the spirit, or lack-of, was silly. the referee-bashing, was amusing.
the kallang wave thing was more like a way of self-entertaining when the soccer was too boring. the flying newspaper bits was hilarious though. and the balloons zipping around.
even funkier was the noise on the street after the match. riotous.
it was fun for the sake of fun.
why is Tiger Cup so amusing. why do they give out free t-shirts to everyone. why are there so few indonesian supporters. it was amusingly ridiculous: the overwhelming support, the sure-win factor, the neverending "referee kayu"s, the automatic "bodoh" that people shout, the booing towards the indonesians, the police concentration at the indonesian corner, the tiny people running around, the feeling of empty space silence(maybe becoz i was sitting so high up).
