okay, erm, this thing was taken from an official forum from a NUS website. so i dont know if i can post it here. but yeah, something interesting for people to note. this was in reference to haze cloud seeding, and the things that go on behind the scenes of the media. this additional information. The journalist who wrote this article consulted me
on cloud seeding before publication (what is cloud seeding, what materials are
used, etc.....). I also mentioned that cloud seeding is known to be an
ineffective way of enhancing rainfall. In particular in the tropics, where
rainfall variability is high, it is almost impossile to prove if seeding works
or not. Anyway, as you can read, this part has been omitted from the story....See you all during my first lecture on 30 Sept. Matthias Roth
