rag day. frown. somehow i've this repulsion against seeing groups of different coloured people compete against each other and cheer endlessly. different-coloured as in different group colours, shirt colours, not skin colour. i guess i'm not a cheering kinda person.
the dances and costumes were generally rather nice. the floats, only some were worthy. but i wonder at the expense gone to for such a trivial event. seemingly meaningless to just hold this little party within those pathetic groups of people for their own entertainment, and make huge floats and elaborate costumes... at least if they did it in a public place, and there were more crowds other than their own selves, it would be much more worth it. after all, if you want to make floats and dances, why not make it like a chingay thing. well the nation is lacking in mass events.

caleb's party. i havent seen so much alcohol at someone's house. but well. not very familiar with those rj pple, shall not talk about them. hm the guys were still predominantly gep, dunno abt the girls. shinmin.. haoxiang.. ok.

i'm so glad im on transitlink concession now. 1 train and 8 bus rides in a day.
