I dropped my bolster in the night.
I dropped my cup.
I stubbed my toe on a cat.
The bus driver didn't see me at the busstop.
I got shortchanged at the fastfood restaurant
My fries were cold and limp.
The chicken dropped out of the burger.
The rain got into my bag.
The ant lost its way on my laptop screen.
I dialed the wrong person on the phone.
Some person kept calling and hanging up before I could do a proper gangster imitation.
Some tears fell.
Some thoughts were forgotten.
But I lie.
And in so doing, does it happen that one final truth at the end of one's life could change the entire history.
I woke up with my right arm aching.
