not that i'm against their new scheme.
heh ACS(Junior) has 95% of students coming from english-speaking families.
but something bothers me, chinese Is Not my MOTHER TONGUE. i resent that. just like it's not important that what dialect group my ancestors trace back to, it's not important what race i come from. not to purposely be anti-chinese or anything. but, why, why this Emphasis on Mother Tongue. like baggages that can never be dropped. i can't wait for the day my french overtakes my chinese. but perhaps it never will. but, in some ways, my french is better.
ok so they want to have Bridging lessons for Primary 1 kids who come from non-mandarin speaking families. but what's this about naming the classes so that students feel more positive about them. so they have names like "Happyland"??? what the... and what's the in chinese. it sounds more like kindergarten than pri sch, or have am i getting too old (still 21 years old =]).
