MediaCorp actor Christopher Lee has been slapped with five charges relating to drink driving which resulted in an accident that seriously injured two people.

consumed alcohol beyond the legal limit when driving, caused an accident which seriously injured a motorcyclist and his pillion passenger, did not stop after the incident and did not help the two injured men.
He also removed his car from the accident scene without police permission.

Lee's appearance lasted a few minutes as his lawyer requested from District Judge Wong Peck for an adjournment because of work commitments.
The judge however refused, setting a date of March 1st for Lee's next appearance in court.
